ASSOCIATION![[Image]](10zauob.gif)
Eastern
Oregon Mining
Association (EOMA)
is a
nonprofit
organization
representing and advocating for the role of mining in the Pacific
Northwest.
Its membership is primarily made up of operators of small mines,
prospectors,
and others interested in mining. EOMA is dedicated as well to the
preservation
of American mineral independence and proper stewardship of the
environment.
Headquartered in Baker City, Oregon, it has membership from the
Cascades
to the Rockies and from Washington to Nevada--with some outside even
that
broad area. It routinely provides assistance to Oregon state agencies
in
mining matters, and is in the forefront of policy making and
consultation
on multiple use and environmental matters. We are a grassroots
organization
over 350 strong and growing!
We invite
you to enjoy
our web site and sincerely
hope that you
might
be interested in becoming a member . Our dues are minimal--$25.00
per
year--and
will provide you with a monthly newsletter that will help keep you
abreast
of the latest in governmental regulations as they pertain to mining and
other resource oriented industries. E-mail me at the below address for
more information.
Here are some more links you may want to take a look
